In 1973, Ruud Barzilay founded Barco Import Export. Over the years, the company evolved, eventually becoming Barco Yacht Equipment B.V. and finally Barco Marine Equipment B.V. Today, our core activities include supplying technical products for yachts and ships, as well as for industries, households, and mobile vehicles.<\/p>\n

Technological progress allows us to do more, and with greater comfort. We believe in honesty and transparency, and we love connecting manufacturers, installers, and users by telling an honest story about the possibilities\u2014and limitations\u2014of technology.<\/p>\n
We are mindful of the environmental impact of our activities. Both our suppliers and customers are becoming more eco-conscious, striving for sustainable production and consumption. We are also taking steps toward a greener future. For example, we no longer use gas, and our solar panels generate more electricity than we consume. While there’s still a long way to go, we are committed to making small strides toward sustainability.<\/p>\n
